WASHINGTON,听November听20, 2025听鈥斕齌he 荔枝视频 Association (ACP) today announced that听Melanie LaCount听will join the organization as Chief听of Staff听for听Communications.听With over听two decades听of experience in听energy policy,听strategic communications,听and听building teams that produce innovative and impactful results,听LaCount听will听support the association鈥檚 efforts to communicate the impact of听clean energy to drive economic growth, create jobs, and strengthen communities.听

鈥淲e are thrilled to welcome Melanie to ACP,鈥� said听Artealia听Gilliard, ACP’s Chief Communications Officer. 鈥淢elanie听is听an accomplished policy and communications leader whose career has centered on advancing clean energy. As our industry looks to communicate with new audiences, her leadership is the boost of energy we need.鈥�听

While at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, LaCount helped shape national energy and environmental policy and led teams to advance environmental progress. She holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Duke University. 听
