CALIFORNIA BUILDS POWER: ÀóÖ¦ÊÓƵ-California represents the solar, wind, battery storage, geothermal and transmission companies building California’s clean energy future.

What We Do

As the clean energy industry’s united voice, ACP-CA shapes policy and regulation to deploy clean power efficiently and affordably while delivering a new generation of energy jobs.

Priorities

  • Build Faster: California needs to build faster and build bigger to meet rising energy demand and accomplish its climate goals. ACP-CA backs proposals to accelerate deployment, spend smarter and strengthen the grid.
  • Transmission: ACP-CA is pushing California to upgrade and build the transmission lines needed to bring new clean power online.
  • Markets: ACP-CA advocates legislation to grow the market for clean energy produced in California while expanding clean power adoption and production across the West.
  • Resource Diversity: ACP-CA represents a growing portfolio of companies including offshore wind leaseholders and advanced geothermal developers. Offshore wind will provide a critical boost to the state’s power supply amid the soaring demand that is expected in the late 2030s, and will provide thousands of good-paying jobs while diversifying the state’s energy portfolio without competing for competitive space on land. The promise of advanced geothermal to deliver additional clean, firm power to the grid at all hours of the day with minimal environmental impact is growing every day.
